Terms of service

Plain terms for the website and for the software we publish. Using either means you agree to them.

Last updated 2026-10-18

What these terms cover#

These terms are between you and Minni AI ("we"), and cover minniai.com, the chat and forms on it, and the software we publish: MinniMemoryMCP (including its Claude Code plugin and the minnimemory npm package), MinniCode and MinniTuner. Contact: MinniMemory@gmail.com.

The software#

Where a product ships with a license file, that license governs your copy of the software. These terms add to it and do not replace it. Where the two differ about the software itself, the license wins.

  • MinniMemoryMCP rewrites your memory files. It keeps a backup and offers undo, but you remain responsible for your files and for keeping them under version control or backed up.
  • MinniCode acts on your code with a model provider you chose and a key you supplied. You are responsible for reviewing what it changes and for complying with that provider’s terms.
  • MinniTuner changes Windows settings, services and scheduled tasks. It asks before applying and makes a restore point, but changes to a PC carry risk, and you apply them at your own discretion.

The text and files the software generates on your machine are yours.

The website#

The chat widget answers from a third-party model and can be wrong. It is a way to ask about Minni, not advice to rely on. Do not use the chat, the forms or the download routes to send anything unlawful, to probe or overload the service, or to impersonate anyone.

Measured numbers on the site come from runs we describe in the Evidence section and in the docs. They are what we measured on our setups; your results will differ.

Ownership#

The site, its text, design and the Minni name and logo belong to Minni AI. The software is licensed to you under its license file. "Claude" and "Claude Code" are trademarks of Anthropic; the plugin is made by Minni AI and is not endorsed by Anthropic.

No warranty, limited liability#

The site and the software are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Minni AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from their use, including lost data, lost files, changes to your system, or costs charged to you by a model provider. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for free products is nothing.

Governing law and changes#

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. Continuing to use the site or the software after a change means you accept the new terms. The page is kept in the site’s source repository, so every version is on record.
